White Sage, Blue Sage & Yerba Santa Smudge Stick 4"
White Sage, Blue Sage, & Yerba Santa Mix. All 3 sages in 1 smudge bundle. The ULTIMATE TRIO.
White Sage for thousands of years, has been believed to be a blessed, sacred, cleansing, cathartic, purifying and protective plant. Its leaves are whitish light green, and if the leaves are rubbed between the thumb and forefinger, you feel a revitalizing, cleansing and refreshing fragrance is released.
Blue Sage also known as "Grandmother Sage†is a purifying herb.Blue Sage is a hardy bush found in the deserts of the Southwest. It’s named for its abundant blue flowers, but the leaves also have a blue-ish cast. It has thin leaves and a fragrance that is both herbaceous and floral, similar to Lavender. A close relative of White Sage, Blue Sage is also good for healing and cleansing rituals. Its soothing, relaxing smell can be used to aid meditation, or burned simply for enjoyment.
Yerba Santa is a diverse herb used for medicinal and spiritual practices by Native American tribes for centuries. The Spanish named it “Holy Herb†for its success in treating respiratory problems including asthma, bronchitis, laryngitis, coughs and allergies plus its ability to eliminate mucus and phlegm from the body. This energetic herb is also used to reduce bloating and gas, to assist in elimination, to treat external conditions such as bruises bites and is said to aid rheumatic pain. Yerba Santa is also good for protection and setting boundaries.
To burn a smudge stick: just light the tip, blow it out and either wave in air or place in a glass or other fireproof container (one that will not burn) with sand or salt placed therein to hold the smudge upright. If placing the stick in a bowl, you can use a feather to move the smoke around. Voice your intention as you move about the room or your home. For example, you can say, “This house is clearâ€, or “This house is healthyâ€.
Remember to smudge in every corner, as negativity sometimes will gather there. To extinguish, invert smudge into the sand or salt to smother, and never under running water.
Caution: Never blow on the stick while smudging, as this could cause sparks to fly and cause a fire. Do not wear billowy, loose fitting clothing and keep windows closed while smudging. If gently waving your smudge stick room to room, always hold a fireproof container underneath.
You will receive (1) 3" -4" stick
